Princeville Beach Trail | Kauai
Know Before You Go: This trail starts at the west end of the parking lot of the SeaLodge I Condos near 3700 Kamehameha Road in Princeville.

Difficulty: Moderate due to some rock scrambling
Terrain: Rocky, can be steep and muddy.

This trail was a little gem we discovered while staying in a VRBO at the SeaLodge Condos. The trail is a public trail that starts at the west end of the westernmost parking lot.
It begins with a steep downhill into a wooded area near the ocean shore. You then follow the trail to the left around the base of a large hill until you see the beach below. Scramble over some rocks and you are treated to a hidden beach with a spectacular view of the sunset.
The crashing, often violent waves are not safe to swim or wade into. We recommend staying well back from the water. Just enjoy the show!
